Mike has over thirteen years’ experience helping private and public payers identify and recover group health claim overpayments. He is a legal analyst, primarily responsible for paid claims data mining in the firm’s Healthcare Cost Containment Practice Group. Utilizing customized software and sophisticated query logic, as well as extensive industry knowledge, he assists in the identification and recovery of overpaid claims on behalf of commercial third-party payers, self-funded plans, public payers, Taft-Hartley Multi-Employer Health and Welfare Plans and property and casualty insurance companies.
Prior to joining the practice group, Mike was a field manager for a national hospital claim auditing company and a paralegal at The Travelers Insurance Company.
Mike holds an A.S. degree from Northeastern University in Aviation Technology and an A.S. degree from Manchester Community College in Paralegal Studies.
