June 13, 2011Pete Vodola and Kathy Scanlon recently spoke in Torrey Pines, California, at the National Structured Settlement Trade Association’s Annual Conference. At a May 19 session before the full NSSTA conference, they were two of three panelists who discussed tax cases and other developments in the laws relating to structured settlements. Also at the same conference, Pete – the co-chair of NSSTA’s Legal Committee – moderated a May 20 panel of judges who spoke about structured settlements of minor’s claims and also about judicial review of transfers of structured settlement payment rights.
